What is online giving?

Online giving is the ability to give a donation or schedule a series of donations using your debit or credit card or your bank account on our website. 

Can I schedule recurring donations?

Yes. You can specify whether you want your contribution made weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly. You can set up multiple, scheduled contributions according to your preference.

Can I just try this by giving one time?

Absolutely. Make sure that you do not check the recurring donation box.

Will I still receive a contribution statement?

Yes, you will receive a monthly statement and an annual statement each January.

What if I change banks or want to adjust the date or amount of a contribution?

You can edit or delete a scheduled contribution at anytime including the bank routing number, account number, date, fund, frequency and donation amount.

Why do I have to set up an account and password?

Setting up an account and password allows you to enter a highly secure environment for your transaction.

Once your account and password are established all of your personal information including credit card information is safe and protected.

Is online giving secure?

We've taken steps to ensure that the giving process is safe and secure from beginning to end. All of your giving data is secured by SSL encryption. SSL is an acronym for "Secure Socket Layer," a security protocol that provides communications privacy over the Internet. It is the same technology used by banks and e-commerce companies such as Amazon.com to keep your information safe and secure during transactions.

Are there any hidden charges or fees to give online?

No. You select the dollar amount for your gift. That is the dollar amount that will be recognized as your donation. No costs or fees.

Can I use my debit card or credit card?

As long as it's a MasterCard, Visa, or Discover.

Can I use an electronic check?

Yes, simply choose the eCheck payment method.

If we want to help people get out of debt, why does Hope Center accept credit card donations?

Used within the parameters, debit and credit cards can be an efficient tool for payments and purchases. Many people utilize them in place of checks or cash throughout the month, and then pay off the balance in full. For these people, we offer the option of using a debit or credit card to give. We strongly discourage those who have ongoing credit card debt from exercising this option.

Can I designate my gift to a particular department or ministry?

Yes. Go to the Select Dropdown menu and choose the ministry that you desire to give to. If the ministry is not listed choose Other and type a message in the comment box.

How can I keep a record of the amount I have contributed?

You can view your online giving record by going to My Account and clicking on the History tab. We also send monthly and year-end statements.

Can I post a recurring donation to more than one ministry?

Yes. You would just click add another donation and check the recurring donation box. You will also need to choose the recurring period (Quarterly, Monthly, Bi-weekly, or Weekly) and start date.

Please note when you check the recurring box all the contributions listed become recurring.

How do I participate in the weekly offering if my contribution is automatically processed online?

You can still participate in the offering during the service by filling out a contribution envelope and notating that you gave online.
